Album stream/Bebo contest/Number 1 TML fan returns!

Hey everyone -- Andy here.  A lot of new updates.  First of all, today is Bobby's birthday so if you're coming to our show tonight in Kansas, be sure to wish him a happy b-day.  Today's also the last day until the release of our self-titled full length and we're so stoked that all of you finally get to hear it.  To give you guys a preview, we've added the full album on PureVolume so be sure to check it out.

We've also created a new page on Bebo and we'll be giving anyone who adds us on there a chance to win the new full length.  Make your Bebo default the new album cover, send us a friend add and we'll randomly select 2 winners to get a copy of the self-titled album.  Good deal, right?

We really appreciate all the support from you guys and want to say thanks to everyone who pre-ordered online or who plans to pick up their copy in stores tomorrow.  We can't wait to hear what you guys think of the album so let us know online or at one of the shows!  And we've been talking a lot about the new album coming out so we thought we'd let you hear from someone else... our friend, the Number 1 TML Fan:

Tour and Van Crash Update

Hey everyone,

Andy here writing to say “what’s up”. We are having an amazing time right now being out with The Rocket Summer, Phantom Planet, and The Secret Handshake. We honestly knew nobody going into this tour. I personally have been a huge fan of Phantom Planet for years so its almost surreal to be on the same tour as them. Matt and Harrison knew The Rocket Summer back from their old band’s days but it had been a while since they’ve connected, but never the less, we are having the most amazing time. The shows have been a lot of fun and we’re seeing a lot of familiar faces that came out to see us on The Hush Sound tour, which is awesome. I’ve also been doubling up on bass duties and I’ve been jamming on stage with The Secret Handshake, which is a ton of fun.

What a lot of you folks don’t know is that we almost didn’t make it out to this tour. 2 days before the tour started, we were driving through Albuquerque, NM when we were at an intersection and a pick up ran a stop and slammed into us at full speed. Everyone in the van was ok but the pick up pretty much trashed the front of our van. After that, we had to spend the night in Albuquerque and wait for the nearest auto body shop to open in the AM to just find out how long its going to take to fix. At one point, we were over 800 miles away and less than 15 hours away from starting the tour when we were able to come through with a rental van. WHAT A LUCKY BREAK!!! I’ve attached a video of the accident scene so you can scope out the van damage. Thankfully she’s gonna be ok and we’ll be picking her up on the off day between Denver and Kansas. At one point, we were freaking out about missing parts of the tour but it all worked out in our favor but with the help of the kind souls at Fearless Records we’re coming out A-OK.

So we are sitting just days away from releasing our first full length and we are stoked for you all to hear it. We’re streaming 2 jams on our myspace, one song on our profile over at absolutepunk.net (rohan kohli 4 lyfe), and you can hear another song by dialing  561-771-0486 and joining our mobile mob. We really hope you guys enjoy it, its really something we’re very proud of and hope you guys can make a connection with it in some sort of way, whether you just like the songs just to like them or if they can add some light to a dark and gloomy day, either is fine with us! It’d help us out a lot if you guys could preorder our record off iTunes or through SmartPunk, Interpunk or Merchnow because even the slightest support helps out more than you really know. Make sure to come find us at any of the shows on our tour with the Rocket Summer as well because we love hearing from you guys.

Anyway, that’s about it from us. You’ll be hearing from us super soon so make sure you keep a careful tab on our myspace!!

- Andy and TML
